Project Description:

A culturally safe gathering space for young First Nations people on Wathaurong country.

In consultation with the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative, the landscape features an outdoor area designated for men's and women’s business, a yarning circle, and a sports court to support the programs and facilities at the youth hub. The material and color palette reflect the hues of the land, utilizing natural materials and stone to create a grounded environment. Indigenous planting serves as a backdrop, enhancing the space's safety and welcoming nature for First Nations youth.
